The online test will comprise of Phase-I and Phase-II exams
The online exam of Phase-I shall be common irrespective of the post. The test structure for Phase I Online exam is as follow:-
English Language : Number of Questions (25), Maximum Marks (25) & Duration (15 minutes)
Reasoning Ability : Number of Questions (25), Maximum Marks (25) & Duration (15 minutes)
Numerical Aptitude : Number of Questions (25), Maximum Marks (25) & Duration (15 minutes)
General Studies* comprising of History, Geography, Economy, General Science upto Class 8th level (20). Current Affairs (5) : Number of Questions (25), Maximum Marks (25) & Duration (15 minutes)
In the Phase-I of online test, the test will be Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions). Each question will carry equal 1 (one) mark. For each wrong answer, there will be negative marking of one-fourth (1/4) of the mark assigned to that question. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no negative marking for that question. The marks obtained in Phase-I will NOT be reckoned in final merit ranking
Phase-II online exam will comprise of:
J.E. (Civil Engineering), J.E.(Electrical Mechanical Engineering), AG-III (Accounts), AG-III (Technical), AG-III (Hindi) : Paper I and Paper II
Steno. Grade- II : Paper-III only
AG-III (General), AG-III (Depot) : Paper-I only
Paper – I : 120 Multiple Choice Questions, each carrying 1 mark. (Maximum 120 marks) & Duration of Exam 90 minutes
Post specific Paper-II (in phase II) : 60 Multiple Choice Questions, each carrying 2 marks. (Maximum 120 marks) & Duration of Exam 60 minutes
Paper-III : 120 Multiple Choice Questions each carries 1 mark. (Maximum 120 marks) & Duration of exam 90 minutes
Paper-I (120 Multiple Choice Questions, Duration-90 Minutes):
English Language : Number of Questions (25), Maximum Marks (25) & Duration (20 minutes)
